When you struggle with an asana – whether it be a new posture or a nemesis pose – it's not about what's wrong
, rather it's something in excess, lacking or misdirected that needs to be balanced. In his first Asana Clinic, Glen
draws on nearly 20 years of teaching students one-to-one to shine fresh light on the poses that cause you problems.
in advance any aspect of yoga practice you would like Glen to address. You are also welcome to ask questions in the class. Perhaps you have lumbar pain in backbends, or find it difficult to breath in twists. Maybe you can't straighten your legs in forward bends, or are dealing with a new or persistent injury. You might be a teacher who wants to know how to assist a student, or a student who's not sure what a teacher is trying to do when they assist you. The beauty of the clinic is that you will learn not only from answers to your own questions but from other people's too.
Held at Purple Yoga Hawaii's new location
