Getting back into exercise after giving birth is not easy for many new mothers who find that just leaving the house takes a great effort.

Mom & Baby Yoga is not only a good motivator to get out and about with baby, this fun and safe class is revitalizing and relaxing. Yoga exercises and movement combined with proper breathing helps Mom restore the pelvic floor, regain the inner strength of her abdomen and rediscover a sense of calm.

It also provides babies with a soothing and supportive environment to both interact with Mom and experience their bodies in a new world.
One of the special things about the class is that you are in a supportive space where you can take time out to nurse. Meanwhile baby can choose to participate, have a cry or fall asleep! The teacher often finds herself rocking a baby while instructing Mom to continue with the yoga.

The class is suitable for newborns up to crawlers and for mothers who have been cleared by their doctors to resume exercise. Just drop-in to class, no need to register. Dads are very welcome to take the class too.

The teacher Mara was trained in Mom & Baby Yoga by Cathy Louise, who is a mother of three including twins.
