Kelly Kennedy has been practicing yoga for 13 years and teaching since 2007. The experience of practicing yoga through two pregnancies inspired her to teach and support women through the continual changes of pregnancy and parenthood.
Kelly studied under Larry Schultz and Marie Hajjar at It's Yoga San Francisco and graduated from their 200-hour yoga teacher training program. She has completed a K-8 Yoga Ed. teacher training with Brynne Caleda and earned a Prenatal Yoga teacher certification from Jane Austin at Yoga Tree San Francisco. More recently, Kelly completed a six-month Pregnancy Yoga apprenticeship with Cathy Louise Broda. Kelly enjoys an ongoing Ashtanga Yoga practice.
In her Pregnancy Yoga class, Kelly shares practical methods and knowledge that students can use to find greater strength as well as comfort during pregnancy, in labor, and in their lives as parents. Her approach to teaching is based on her experience of yoga as a powerful means of finding inner strength and self-awareness. Her goal is to help guide students to discover their full potential.
